About Me.

Hey, I’m Julian, a 11th grade student at the University of Toronto Schools (UTS). Welcome to my personal website.

The question I get asked the most often which I never have an answer to is “what do you want to do in the future?”. To be honest, I don’t really know. I thought I was going to be a math and CS kid for most of my life, but the more I learn, the more I realize my passion lies in some intersection between the sciences and the humanities. Designing this website has made that decision a bit earlier though - web dev is pretty arduous, so maybe I should just give up and become a lawyer :)

I’ve done competitive math since grade 1, coding since grade 4, debate since grade 9, and recently took up writing which you can check out on my blog. In general, I’m just trying to better understand how the world works, whatever that may entail. I’m interested especially in the study of human intelligence, and the use of machine learning to model and solve human problems. If you want to see some of the projects I’ve worked on, check out my GitHub. If you want to learn more about my experiences (and potentially offer me a job), check out my resume.

In my spare time, I like to cook, box, run, and lose an embarrassing amount of games of Valorant and chess. Feel free to hit me up on my Instagram , or on Discord Phoenix#3305 if you just want to talk!
